Foundation of knowledge
Kamal Kishore Agarwal completed a Diploma in Gem Identification from the Gem Testing Laboratory in Jaipur.
2008
International qualification
Accomplished a Diploma in Gemmology with Merit from Gem-A, United Kingdom, sharpening his skillset in stone identification.

Shri Govind Devji Gems was born 18 years ago from the humble beginning of a young man’s dream. Having learned the two core virtues of business, quality and fair pricing, Kamal Kishore Agarwal began trading gemstones in 2008.
He chose this field to satisfy an inner desire for creativity and product identification, and set up his base in Jaipur because of the city’s profound legacy in the global gemstone trade. Understanding the product is everything here, since the slightest technical difference between two stones has a major impact on price.
His eye for detail, professional knowledge and memory for inventory advanced the business through prompt, reliable delivery. By God’s grace and persistent hard work, he has established a well-regarded name in gemstone trading. The business has grown organically from a stock of a few stones to a wide-ranging inventory.
The next step is the exports segment. We are now a certified, registered Associate member of The Gems and Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC). We are deeply grateful to our customers and suppliers for believing in us and helping us reach these milestones.

What we hold ourselves to
Natural and untreated
We specialise in gems as nature produced them, free from enhancement. Where a stone has been heated, we say so on the listing and on the invoice rather than leaving the buyer to find out later.
Certified, or clearly not
Stones graded by IGI or IIGJ carry their laboratory named on the product page. Stones that have not been submitted for a report say exactly that. We never imply a certificate that does not exist.
One price, explained
Colour, clarity, cut, origin and treatment are what move the price of a coloured stone. We will walk you through which of those you are paying for, so the number makes sense before you commit to it.

Jaipur has been a centre of the coloured stone trade for close to three hundred years, and Johari Bazaar is where that trade still happens. Stones are best judged in the hand, so come and look at them.
